The healing power of light
Humans evolved as outdoor animals, at one with and regulated by the cycles of nature. Our bodies, our organs, our tissues and even down to the smallest components of our cells all rely on light to signal the time of day ensuring the most economical use of our resources. This means that our digestive system is not digesting, when it needs to be cleaning,and repairing, that our brain flushes out toxins when we sleep, that we have energy surges when we’re awake. Furthermore, there are specific frequencies of light that heal and restore, signal chemical messengers to protect skin from damage, stimulate immune function and reduce inflammation…and SO much more! Every single system of the body can be impacted by circadian misalignment, contributing to all diseases and conditions. Strategic light exposure is fundamental to all health - and we’ve been missing this for the last century, at least!
